Below you can find our different degree plans in accordance with the Finish in Four Initiative set by Oklahoma State University. This is a plan dedicated to the completion of a degree by a prospective student in the four year time frame. For more complete plans, please click on one of the links below.  The links give more information about the general degree in microbiology and the degree with an emphasis in Medical Laboratory Science. Students are encouraged to print these off at their convenience to always have a record of courses taken for their degree.

Minoring in Microbiology/Cell and Molecular Biology

A minor in Microbiology can be attained by taking 15 course credit hours designated MICR, including MICR 2123, MICR 2132, and MICR 3223. A minimum grade of "C" is required prior to the declaration of the minor.  Upper-division MICR courses (excluding MICR 3103) must add up to 7 hours of course credit. Zero-ending courses are allowed to students, pending departmental approval, with no grade below "C". The full listing of courses offered for a minor in Microbiology can be found here

Please note that for the Microbiology degree there are placement requirements for specific courses. Please see restrictions for specific science courses and math courses as set and approved by approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE).
