Graduate Student Association

Welcome from the Graduate Student Association 2021:

ramee arandaHi there, my name is Ramee Grace Aranda and I am the current president of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics Graduate Student Association (MMG GSA). I received my Bachelor's degree from OSU in 2018 and am currently a 3rd year PhD student in the Hadwiger Lab. Our association aims to build a sense of community between graduate students in our department and to educate the public on Microbiology and related sciences. MMG GSA hosts our department's annual research symposium where both graduate and undergraduate students are given the opportunity to showcase their research. Additionally, we host social events and fundraisers that allow for new and existing graduate students to build lasting friendships to help their transition into graduate school. Make sure to follow our department on Instagram (@okstatemicrobiology), Facebook (Oklahoma State University Microbiology), and Twitter (@osumicrobiology) for any updates as well as MMG GSA on CampusLink. Feel free to reach out to me at ramee.aranda@okstate.edu if you have any questions, whether you are a current graduate student or not. We look forward to meeting you! Go Pokes!
